On May 28th en 29th the B-CONNECTED festival will take place in Amsterdam, Addis Abeba en Dar es Salaam simultaneously. B-CONNECTED making the world a global stage is a festival for young talent in Africa and Europe.
B-CONNECTED aims to bring youth in Africa and Europe in contact with each other, stimulate them to positive action and create a platform for young creative talents.
B-CONNECTED takes place in Amsterdam at the Melkweg (sat. May 28th and sun. May 29th) and Paradiso (sun. May 29th).

The kick-off will be on Saturday May 28th at 2pm at the Melkweg with a concert of Intwine. Over 40 (inter)national acts will perform during B-CONNECTED at the Melkweg and Paradiso.
The program consists of a mainly ‘urban’ line-up with Hip Hop, R & B, Nu Soul, Dancehall, but there will also be pop-rock performances, vj’s and dj’s, workshops, debating, street dance and break-dance. B-CONNECTED is organised in cooperation with several organisations in Amsterdam who provide platforms for young creative talent such as Roots&Routes, Breathing Bijlmer and Stichting GRAP.
